The following is what each score means:
(A+) 5/5 Stars - The highest possible score. This score is only achievable when both technical and artistic values are perfect. These movies/games/music typically have something real special about them that touches an aspect of my life.
(A) 4.5/5 Stars - A near flawless score, obtainable when either a piece scores perfect in a technical or artistic aspect, but is flawed in one aspect. Movies that do not really touch me deeply at a personal level will typically get this score.
(A-) 4/5 Stars - An excellent movie that is embraced by the masses, and has me convinced too.
(B+) 3.5/5 Stars - A popcorn movie, worth the price of admission.
(B) 3/5 Stars - Above average movie, will flip a coin to see.
(C+) 2.5/5 Stars - Average movie, will not see in theaters unless peer pressured OR has an actor/actress that I’m a fan of.
(C) 2/5 Stars - Below average movie, will not see unless peer pressured.
(D) 1/5 Stars - A very horrible movie.
(F) 0/5 Stars - A very very horrible movie that deserves bashing.
